Robert Cheely is licensed in the State Bar, Federal Bar, a Member of the Illinois State Bar Association, The American Bar Association, and the Illinois Real Estate Lawyer’s Association. Born in a Blue-Collar working-class home in the west suburbs of Chicago, where Bob’s roots were formed. While working his way through school he enjoyed several activities responsible for his success today. One of which stands out most is competing in the Army ROTC Rifle team.
Working through various jobs, his character was formed helping him to develop his relentless discipline and reinforcing his strong values. Through his many challenges along the road of working and going to law school, he developed the essential skills to work through many of life’s challenges along the way. This plays a prominent role in Bob’s character and integrity, which allows him to relate to many of his clients on a deeper and more personal level.
During Bob’s journey of working through law school, he developed many lifelong relationships with his colleagues. Many of which went on to become prominent Judges, Mayors and other respected and influential individuals in the community. Bob is extremely appreciative and thankful to have been part of their lives in their formative years and delighted to have known them before they rose to their current acclaim. Remarkably, they have kept their demeanor and appreciate their strong roots shared.
While attending Loyola University as a law student, Bob found himself working as a Real Estate agent to put himself through law school and make ends meet. He often claims that it was in these times that his passion for Real Estate was shaped. Fast forward to today and Mr. Cheely has closed on countless Real Estate transactions for four decades. Similarly, he has served as Counsel in many areas of the legal system, in which his passion is to protect his clients through his unique methods of interpreting law today.
His knack for fostering loyalty and tight knit family values play a prominent role in the way his office is run today. Bob is fond of the many experiences and real-life connections that have made him the well-rounded and relentless lawyer he has become. Bob is very thankful to his mentors, to God for his accomplishments in life, and his devoted staff, who help him represent his clients from day to day and gives credit to God for his victory.
